What we collect when you send an enquiry
Only what you enter in the enquiry form, plus the records we add to it:
Your name and mobile number
So we know who is asking and can call you back.
Your email address (optional)
Only if you choose to give it, as another way to reach you.
The services or products you select, and the quantities
So we understand what you want quoted.
Your project location (chosen from a list)
Site conditions and logistics affect a custom quotation.
Your requirements: project details, area and any notes you type
To prepare a quotation that fits your project.
Your agreement to be contacted, and the date and time of the enquiry
To keep a record that you asked us to get in touch.
An enquiry reference, its status (New, Contacted or Closed) and notes our staff add while following up
So the same enquiry is not handled twice and the follow-up is recorded.
Please do not type card numbers, bank details, passwords or government ID numbers into the free-text boxes. We do not need them to quote.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, contact you on the mobile number or email you gave, discuss your requirements, prepare a custom quotation, and keep a record of the follow-up. Your agreement in the enquiry form covers contact about that enquiry. It is not a sign-up for marketing messages.
Where it is stored and who can see it
The enquiry is sent to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and saved in a database on that server. It is visible to Housing Duniya staff and administrators who have sign-in accounts for the company enquiry inbox.
Service providers
Our website and its database run on a server that we rent from the hosting provider BigRock. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp or by email instead of using the form, that message travels through WhatsApp, or through your email service and ours (Gmail), under their own terms. We do not use advertising or analytics services on this website.
Cookies and technical data
This website does not set cookies for visitors and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Staff who sign in to the company inbox receive a strictly necessary sign-in cookie. To limit misuse of the form, the website briefly uses the address of your connection to limit how often a form can be sent; it is not saved with your enquiry. Like most websites, the hosting server may keep standard technical logs (for example the time and address of a request).
How long we keep it, backups and deletion
At present enquiries are not deleted automatically, and we have not yet set a fixed retention period. We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, prepare your quotation and keep a record of the follow-up. You can send us a request to correct or delete your enquiry (see Privacy questions or requests below). Our team reviews and handles each request; deletion is not automatic.
We also keep a nightly backup copy of the database on the same server for a limited period, and older copies are replaced automatically. A record that has been deleted may therefore remain in backup copies until they are replaced.
Your rights under Indian law
Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (as they apply to us), may give you rights over your personal data, such as asking what we hold, correcting or deleting it, withdrawing your consent, and raising a complaint with us. You can ask us about any of these using the contact below.

Write to housingduniya@gmail.com and say that your message is about privacy. Please include the enquiry reference you were shown after you submitted it, and the mobile number you used, so we can find your enquiry.
Payments
Housing Duniya quotes every project individually. This website has no online payment, cart or checkout. If anyone asks you for an online payment in the name of HousingDuniya, please check with us first using the contact details on this website. See also our Terms.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
